Hey everyone! So I figured since I have an iPhone now it should be easier to update my blog and I have a really good feeling that I Am going to need to start blogging.
We find out in less than two weeks if nick is going to become an Air Force officer! I'm excited and nervous at the same time. Excited for change (the good change) but nervous about the unknown. December 5 is the date so expect an update by then.
Here's our family update: Ryzon is 11 months now and just recently had to undergo two back to back surgeries. I will do a separate post about that at a later time. For now we are just happy to have our baby boy back and healthy. He is walking and is getting into everything! He follows his sister everywhere
Speaking of which Julianna is now 2 1/2 and is becoming quite the kid. She gets everything now and her vocabulary is building by the second. She is such a loving person and is a natural born leader. This is a fun age because we do dates now and she loves having one on one time!
Today we went to the park because mommy was losing it and needed to get out. We didnt even make it to the playground because the kids were so fascinated with throwing rocks into the "lake". It was a puddle from the sprinkler system.
I took that opportunity to teach science. We would find different size rocks and then guess what size puddle we would get. Juju really got into and Ryzon didn't eat the rocks! Scoooore!!!!

Finally finding some time here...
So I know every post I put up I always say "I'm going to be better at writing on this blog". Well I've finally found some time to write a post. I would love to be putting up pictures at least once a week but I haven't quite figured out how to post from my phone.
So here is our update... Julianna is 17months and is growing into a really silly child. She makes me laugh more and more which is a good thing seeing as she has been clingier than normal so it allows me to laugh at the situation (sometimes) instead of crying (and hence I said sometimes). We are expecting our second child and I can't even believe I'm a mom to one let alone I'm going to soon be saying "Yes I have two kids!". On Monday we find out the sex of the baby and get to see him/her for the first time in an ultrasound.
Nick is still recruiting for a contracting company and I feel a big change in career coming soon. I can't give more details yet but will let you know that this career change has led me to believe that I need to practice getting on the ball about blogging!
I am still working as a childrens class coordinator for the church we attend. It definitely has its ups and downs and sometimes I just want to kick people but I see growth and I'm excited for where we are headed as a church. I am excited also to hand this over when my baby comes so that I can breathe for a minute...which I know I won't with a newborn but whatever...transfer the stress I guess.
Oh here is a pic of Julianna and I at a friends BBQ..
She is getting so good at saying "CHEESE" anytime someone has a camera...my little model.
Okay well I think I posted a good amount to update everyone. I will try to study up on how to upload pics from my phone.
Oh and one more thing....If you are reading this click follow (even if you don't want to!)...It makes me feel like I'm not talking to myself and will give me more of a push to post more blogs.

Basket Time
Well to update on the Imholte Family. Julianna is almost 11 months old and is starting to stand on her own for at least 30 seconds. It looks like she wants to just take off but is unsure how it all works. I'm getting ready for her birthday party because I plan to do most of it with homemade decoration. Nick and I went out on a mandatory date night (thanks to our church) and had a blast. We went to see Little Fockers which was FUNNY! Apparently it was not that funny to most of the people in the theater cause there were plenty of moments where I was the only one laughing out loud. Oh well!!!!
Well this morning I'm pretty excited because I ordered my first bountiful baskets! For those of you who don't know what that is because I didn't either, it a program sort of like a farmer market. The difference is you pay in advance for a basket and extra goodies if you want. Then you just go by and pick it up! Its organic and I heard you get a lot. I'll post a pic of my basket when I get back. For now check out the website bountifulbaskets.org.

December
Good Morning! It seems like I always start with good intentions of updating every day but life seems to get in the way. LOL So what's happening in the world of the Imholtes? We are getting ready for Julianna's first Christmas!!! We have our house decorated more than we ever had which is a curse and a blessing. It's nice to get in the mood but a pain when every second I have to say "no...put that down...not in your mouth!" Guess next year I'll have to baby proof the decorations.
We also got a new couch yesterday! It's a wrap around which I love cause we are definitely comfy people. Julianna actually fell asleep on it last night without me having to rock her to sleep!!!

Homemade Pizza
So I got the recipe from $5 dollar dinner mom on how to make Homemade pizza and thought I should take a shot at it. I made dough for the first time and for some reason it wouldn't rise lol...I put the yeast in there and everything. I may need to let it sit for longer than I did. Well the pizza did turn out nicely but I really need to invest in a roller pin if I'm going to continue. It turned into more of a Chicago Deep Dish with the deepness being full of dough! I could tell it wasn't a hit by the way Nick chewed his piece. LOL Well better luck next time. On Tonight's Menu...Grilled Pork Chops
